报告题目:Copper-CatalyzedAsymmetric Synthesis of Functionalized and Cyclic α-Amino Boronate Esters

摘要:α-Amino boronateesters have emerged as important constituents in protease inhibitors and usefulbuilding blocks in synthetic chemistry.[1]However, most of currentmethods rely on diasteroselective synthesis with involvement of stoichiometricamount of chiral auxiliaries. Although some groups have succeeded in thesynthesis of optically active α-amino boronate esters via asymmetric catalysis,[2-8]the reactions are still very limited. For examples, catalyticasymmetric synthesis of functionalized chiralα-amino boronate estersand cyclic chiralα-amino boronateesters are virtually unexpolored.
To this end, we have developed copper-catalyzed asymmetric conjugate borylationof β-aza-α,β-unsaturated compounds and dearomatizative borylation of indolederivatives for the first time, which allows for accessing a series of stablefunctionalized chiral α-amino boronate esters in good yields andenantioselectivities (up to 97% ee) under mild reaction conditions. The currentmethod is also applicable for gram-scale synthesis without erosion of anystereoselectivity.
报告人简介:徐森苗,2009年7月上海有机化学研究所毕业,获得理学博士学位,先后在美国波士顿学院(Boston College)(2013.9-2015.2)、美国俄勒冈大学(Universityof Oregon)(2010.10-2013.7)、日本京都大学化学系(2009.9-2010.10)从事博士后研究工作,2015.3到中国科学院兰州化学物理研究所工作,入选第十二批青年千人计划。先后在J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed等国际知名杂志发表论文十几篇。
